Maison Siran is a 1 bedroom house attached to a 19th Century stone 'maison du maitre' or large village house, in the village of Siran in Languedoc.  The recently renovated house has a private entrance from the street with lovely views of a private garden and the rooftops of surrounding houses.

The bedroom has Merbau hardwood flooring, an armoire for storage, and an overhead fan.  A pair of twin beds may be joined to create a double bed.  There is a four piece bathroom ensuite to the bedroom.  The living room and eat-in kitchen are floored with traditional terracotta tiles.  In the living room is a sofa, armchair, and coffee table next to the cast iron wood-burning stove.

The kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator and an electric oven with a gas stove-top.  There is a washing machine.

Parking is available in front of the house. 

Located in the the centre of the village, the house is within walking distance of the boulangerie, the grocery store and the post office.

The village is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves with the Black Mountains as a backdrop, and is ideal for hiking, biking or driving trips to local markets, towns and the Canal du Midi.
